Billy Currington 自從2003年出道以來可說是一帆風順  首張同名專輯二支單曲 I got a feelin', walk a little straighter 都有鄉村榜 top 10 的表現
接下來的成績更上層樓  第二張專輯的首支單曲 must be doin' somethin' right 就登上了冠軍  從此開啟他「拿#1跟喝水一樣簡單」之路  隨後又蒐集了一個「正」字: 五支冠軍單曲
總共六支鄉村榜#1  另有3支 top 10 單曲  在眾多中生代鄉村男歌手中  令人格外眼紅  唯一美中不足的大概是在綜合榜及鄉村榜上都沒拿過冠軍專輯

其中真正讓他獲得較多鄉村樂界之外的注意的是 people are crazy 這首歌  它獲得了 Grammy 最佳鄉村男演唱以及 ACM Awards 年度單曲的提名
歌曲影片也是一絕  講述一個他在酒吧遇到一個老人  兩人相談甚歡  最後老人過逝了把遺產留給他  結果那老人竟然是個百萬富翁  看來這首歌應該改名為 people are crazy (Billy is lucky) 比較恰當 :P
另外要提提目前的單曲 love done gone 的MV  影片在 New Orleans 取景  這首歌的節奏配上這個城市  完全把 NO 那種南方 Big Easy 的精神展現了出來
最後再來談談他的外型  不以牛仔帽示人  一頭捲到不能再捲的捲毛  光著上半身在沙灘跑來跑去(must be doin' somethin' right video)  女性歌迷就一狗票了...
