曾幾何時，夜店型的 pop dance 音樂佔據了流行樂的版圖，而將饒舌融入其中的佼佼者，非 Flo Rida 莫屬
low 一曲曾高居數位下載總銷量排行榜#1好一陣子(直到 poker face, I gotta feeling 等出現)，並佔據 Hot 100 #1 長達10週
跟他合作也讓初次曝光的歌手星途比一般順遂
right round 讓 Ke$ha 從素人歌手成為排行常勝軍，sugar 也讓 Wyter Gordon 初嚐走紅滋味

2012年他再出擊，帶來全新專輯 Wild Ones，從去年就開始鋪路
wild ones 一曲五顆星推薦，把 Sia 獨特的嗓音發揮到極致(有多少人在 hey I heard you were a wild one, woo~~ 就被 Sia 迷住了)
讓幾乎在美國市場沒有知名度的 Sia 像 Kimbra 一樣，一夕間成為高度詢問的對象，也進一步在 Hot 100 向上推動 Sia 另一首跨刀 David Guetta 的 titanium
第三支單曲 whistle 則是 Flo 難得唱得比較多，旋律順耳簡單，當然還是以節奏取勝
其實，聽 Flo 的歌，他，並不是重點(反正他的任務就是把rap的部份唸得像喝水咕嚕咕嚕一樣, like a "flow")，而誰跟他合作才是重點

重量級的意思是歌手/團體具知名度，但不見得一定會紅 XD

B.o.B ft. Taylor Swift - both of us
很明顯的是要循 airplane 的模式，但搭配 Taylor Swift 的結果是節奏的速度和強度都放緩許多，應該不會有 airplane 那麼成功

在大牌流行歌手休兵的期間(以美國市場來說)，也就是葛萊美獎前後約1-3月，是獨立樂團/歌手紛紛出來搶佔市場的時候
(也只有這個時候他們才比較有機會，不然等到4-6月主流鄉村、搖滾出片，接著暑假流行歌手就開始活躍、巡迴...) 
加上 we are young 以非主流黑馬之姿橫掃美、澳兩地市場(在英國大概還沒開放下載)，而且最近也聽到不少滿喜歡的非主流歌曲，於是才想到這篇主題...

目前的 Hot 100 top 10 有兩首算非主流歌曲，相當少見
其中 we are young 是 fun. 的第一首入榜單曲，就登上冠軍寶座(上一次發生樂團的第一首入榜單曲就拿下#1，是10多年前2001年底的 Nickelback - how you remind me)
而 somebody that I used to know 的 Gotye 更是外籍兵團(來自澳洲)
若不是沒有主流大牌發片，相信是很難看到這樣的現象
不管你稱他們為Indie也好，Alternative也好，他們為音樂市場帶來了很不一樣的聲音
但不可否認地，要在主流排行榜佔有一席之地，就不能另類得太徹底，因此被大眾市場接受的歌曲都還是嗅得到流行的味道

Bush - the sound of Winter
Fronted by Gavin Rossdale, who is Gwen Stefani's husband, Bush's second single off their upcoming new album "The Sea Of Memories" is already making its appearance in the top 20 rock tracks.

Carolina Liar - drown
First single off Carolina Liar's brand new sophomore album "Wild Blessed Freedom." 

Cold - American dream / wicked world  
Recommended tracks from Cold's new album "Superfiction," with "wicked world" as the lead single. 

O.A.R. - back to one / gotta be wrong sometimes / world like that

Bayside brings literally the "sickest" song. 那三聲 sick 真是喊得雄壯威武啊!

Burn Halo - tear it down
When this song is on, what's gonna be torn down?  probably your ear and the roof of your house, haha...  just kidding, but the music is loud, which is awesome!

Art Of Dying - sorry / watching you watching me / whole world's crazy
首波單曲 die trying 早在去年已經上路  如今專輯 Vices And Virtues 發行  They are the new hope of Canadian post-grunge that reminds you of Three Days Grace and Default. "Whole world's crazy" is the 2nd single.

Avril Lavigne - what the hell (acoustic version)
The regular edition sounds just too juvenile.  Acoustic version is much simpler yet not loosing its adolescent/young adult feeling.

Death Cab For Cutie - you are a tourist
DCFC 發表新作  開頭那幾小節的旋律相當入耳(這還是我第一次聽得慣他們的單曲)  新專輯 Codes And Keys 預計5月底發行

Foo Fighters - rope
The Foos bring us back some pure rock and roll!  Rope debuted at #1 on rock chart.

Beady Eye - the roller
Beady Eye = Oasis 2.o, without the elder brother Noel. This song "the roller" is from their upcoming debut album "Different Gear, Still Speeding" to be released 2/28. 

British Sea Power - living is so easy / who's in control
BSP 推出新專輯 Valhalla Dancehall  這裡的 easy, control 分別是第一跟第二支單曲  很標準的英式獨立  一聽就知道是英搖 

Cold War Kids - louder than ever
非主流歌曲一句 "I can hear you louder than ever" 有著神奇的難忘性  另類團體 CWK 的這首歌在排行榜上後勢看俏

聖誕歌(Christmas Songs)
轉眼間2010年接近尾聲  又是聽聽應景聖誕歌的時候  今年我就偷懶一下  併著新歌快訊為大家介紹今年新發行且不錯聽的聖誕歌(有些是舊歌翻唱)
今年新出爐的聖誕歌還頗多  由天后 Mariah Carey打頭陣  大翻身的 Train 搭著可口可樂廣告出了一首很棒的新歌  另外也有搖滾風的另類聖誕歌  連樂界最惡名昭彰的大嘴 Kanye West 都加入戰局
當然這也是今年最後一期新歌快訊  希望大家在聽歌的同時  都有個merry Christmas and happy holidays!

首支單曲 isolation 入耳度較差  目前沒能引起太大的迴響  另外推薦這兩首

Art Of Dying - die trying
這是 Art Of Dying 第二張專輯準備進軍美國市場的開路先鋒 他們的重音樂和憤怒式唱腔讓人聯想到同樣來自加拿大的 Three Days Grace
這首歌另有 acoustic 版本請來 Seether 的主唱助陣  因為他們常替 Seether 的演唱會開場

Finger Eleven - stone soul / whatever doesn't kill me
上一張的 paralyzer 成績意外的好  讓來自加拿大的 Finger Eleven 有了更堅實的美國市場基礎
這次的新專輯 Life Turns Electric 聽來差異不大  首單 living in a dream 已經打出一些名聲  另外再推薦這兩支作品  第二波單曲應該是這兩首其中一首

10 Years - don't fight it / fix me
10 Years 帶來新專輯 Feeding The Wolves  首單 shoot it out 旋律較偏離主流  目前只能在排行榜上打轉  不過搖滾樂迷們別失望  他們的專輯仍值得一聽  尤其這裡推薦的 don't fight it 是相當棒的抒情重搖滾

American Bang - angels / other side of you / rewind / roll on / she don't cry no more
之前介紹過他們的首支單曲 wild and young,  American Bang 的出道同名專輯已經發行  南方搖滾融入現代曲風  整張作品散發出濃濃的正統美式搖滾味  令人愛不釋手

Anberlin - take me (as you found me) / you belong here
Anberlin 的新專輯 Dark Is The Way, Light Is A Place 已經發行  除了首支單曲 impossible  再推薦這兩首"輕鬆小品"

Bon Jovi - what do you got?
寶刀未老的 Bon Jovi 將發精選輯  這是其中的新曲  雖然團員帥氣不減當年  但歌曲的"軟硬程度"多少也反映了他們已不再像20年前那樣生龍活虎  人總是要向歲月低頭

12 Stones - tomorrow comes today
雖然主唱 Paul McCoy 因為 bring me to life 一曲頗有名氣  但 12 Stones 本身的星途卻一直不怎麼順遂  好不容易熬到有一張EP可出  主打歌 we are one 實在平淡無奇  只推薦這首 tomorrow comes today

American Bang - wild & young
前奏一下就讓你感受到搖滾的熱力奔放  伴隨著主唱那像極了 Kings Of Leon 的聲音  American Bang 帶來的這首 wild & young 是你今夏不可錯過的 authentic American rock

Anberlin - impossible
兩年前因為 feel good drag 這首搖滾榜冠軍單曲讓比較多人認識了Anberlin  現在他們預計於九月推出新專輯 Dark Is The Way, Light Is A Place  由這首順耳的主流單曲打頭陣  已經在排行榜露臉

我也是初識 Band Of Horses  來自美國的他們卻在英國市場獲得迴響  不難預見他們的作品有著英倫風  主唱以輕如搖藍曲的聲音唱著這首 Laredo

經歷上一張專輯 Black Butterfly 的慘敗  Buckcherry 捲土重來即將發行新專輯 All Night Long
首支同名單曲已經曝光  普普通通  不是很看好這首歌能有什麼做為

福音搖滾團 Delirious? 以這首流暢搖滾老歌重新發行站上英國榜#4  讓許多人(包括我在內)認識了這個出道已經十幾年的樂團

Drowning Pool - children of the gun / feel like I do / over my head / turn so cold
Drowning Pool finally delivers a kick-ass album!  feel like I do 是首支單曲  其他也都是痛快的重搖滾  建議聽這些歌前要先把門窗關好  免得吵到鄰居

Framing Hanley - you stupid girl
出道專輯未能打響名號  Framing Hanley 再接再勵推出第二張專輯  以這首 you stupid girl 打頭陣  聽來頗投搖滾電台所好  看能不能在排行榜上露臉

Amy 的第二張個人大碟 A Curious Thing 已經發行  頗有美式搖滾風味的 spark 預定是第二支單曲  your time will come 則像個時代女青年唱出勵志歌曲  很有她自己的味道
