The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus 成軍於2003年 2006年的出道單曲 face down 就讓他們初嚐走紅滋味 雖然是一支搖滾曲 卻在主流的 Hot 100 及 Top 40 榜上受到歡迎 也因此另外出了除去原版嘶吼聲的"大眾版"
今年(2009)初推出第二張專輯 Lonely Road 則另人失望 首波主打 you better pray 在搖滾榜上晃兩下就消失了 名次不理想
第二支單曲 pen & paper 雖然主流性較強 但由於專輯的銷售及首波單曲的成績已造成傷害 以致於未能勝任"中繼救援"的角色 整張專輯也確實流於一般 沒有令人印象深刻的作品
樂團風格及主唱音色都不是很特出 除了團名夠長夠奇怪 若缺少了像 face down 這樣的暢銷曲 很容易淹沒在茫茫團海中...

that's the kind of mood I'm in 則是她一首比較貼近現代鄉村的作品
她的名氣雖然不像其他的資深鄉村女歌手響亮 但從出道以來在排行榜上的表現絲毫不遜色 也獲得許多獎項的肯定
可惜的是近年來她未能像 Reba 一樣 藉由和新生代歌手的合作再創歌唱生涯第二春 儘管她也跟鄉村型男 Jimmy Wayne 合唱了一曲 no good for me
喜愛鄉村的朋友也別錯過了她的聲音
